Special Projects Project Manager

About this team

The Special Projects, Strategic Business Operations team supports the Brand and Product Activation Office to drive Special Projects, Collaborations, and other fast‑tracked product endeavors forward. Our team oversees the bodies of work to deliver Special Projects by acting as a strategic thought partner, managing Program Deliverables, Project Plans, Risks, Budgets, Roadmaps and supporting overall strategy definition and execution.

A day in the life: what you’ll do

The Special Projects, Project Manager is accountable for driving project objectives forward through development of project plans and reporting associated with the delivery and governance of special projects. This person is a leader who leverages stakeholder influence and persuasive skills to drive special projects forward while maintaining product and brand strategy and partnership requirements.

  • Drive the execution of special projects and collaborations through project plan and calendar creation, issue identification, project governance and oversight in collaboration with Special Projects Manager, workstream leads and strategy partners.
  • Deliver regular program status updates to Initiative Leader, cross‑functional team, other cross‑functional leaders and Executive sponsors.
  • Manage toolkit, work plans, status, RAID log documentation and budget reporting for work streams and projects.
  • Advise cross‑functional stakeholders in relation to initiatives impacting the Product organization.
  • Support Project scoping, toolkit creation, delivery, roadmap, KPI, governance and performance/result management.
  • Support external relationship management in conjunction with SP Manager and Partnerships team.
  • Ensure special project or collaboration maintains contractual requirements for Partnership through thorough governance and enrolment for all cross‑functional partners.
Qualifications
  • 5 – 7 years of relative experience, preferably in a vertically integrated, apparel, footwear, global, specialty retail environment.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple diverse projects within related field.
  • Ability to influence and manage conversations and meetings across the organization at multiple levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate, mitigate, and resolve conflicts across working groups.
  • Advanced knowledge of Smartsheet, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Miro would be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits Package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay‑for‑performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,500-$107,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and, subject to program eligibility requirements.
