Job summary

Fairstone Bank is seeking a proactive Loan Consultant to grow our lending business in the Greater Toronto Area. You will promote loan products and provide tailored financial solutions while guiding clients through the application-to-closing process.

In this role, you will build lasting relationships, meet sales targets, and deliver excellent service in a dynamic, customer-centric environment. A strong foundation in sales and finance is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; post-secondary education in finance, sales, or business is considered an asset.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience or customer service with targets.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering value.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote and sell loan and protection products in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
• Understand customer needs to recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Manage the entire sales process, in person and virtually—from application to closing.
• Build strong relationships and earn trust through excellent service.
• Stay focused on personal and team sales goals.
• Perform credit assessments, process payments, and manage overdue accounts.
