Scotts Canada Ltd. in St. Margaret’s, NB, is seeking an individual to fill a Loader Operator position, beginning approximately June 1 (weather-dependent). This position is permanent seasonal, with a possibility of year-round work.

Applicants MUST

• Have reliable transportation & display acceptable attendance

• Work independently and as part of a team and be capable of working overtime on short notice

• Be capable of working in a dusty environment

• Must meet minimum requirements of the position within the probationary period

• No have physical restrictions limiting one’s ability to properly wear Personal Protective Equipment, climbing into and down from the operator cab multiple times per day or from lifting up to 50 pounds

• Provide a CPIC (Criminal Record) Check. Note: This is NOT a requirement for current Scotts Associates

• Must be able to safely demonstrate skill operating a wheel loader

• Must have good vision and the ability to work at night

Duties

• Storage of finished goods

• Stocking hoppers with bulk material

• Product covering

• Snow removal

• Record keeping

• Other duties, as assigned

Applicants MAY have to provide a driver’s abstract (driving record).

Bilingualism is an asset, but not a requirement.
