The Brenda Strafford Foundation (BSF) is a charitable organization that owns and operates five Aging Care & Senior Living communities in Calgary, AB, and Okotoks, AB. We provide a safe, caring, and comfortable home environment for our senior residents and families. Locally, in Calgary, BSF operates Alberta’s largest second-stage shelter providing safe shelter and comprehensive support services to women and children leaving abuse and violence. The Licensed Practical Nurse works as a member of the multidisciplinary team, collaborating on the delivery of care to meet the needs of residents. The LPN provides care to residents whose health condition and needs are well defined and predictable with little fluctuation over time. The LPN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care and works in consultation with HCA and RN colleagues to meet the needs of more complex patients.
