Job description

Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Parkwood Place.

In accordance with the established vision and values of the organization, the Community Licensed Practical Nurse, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, performs assessments, plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to clients. Administers oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures. The scope of skills that the LPN performs varies according to the predictability of the outcome for a given client population. The LPN operates within the competency guidelines and full scope of practice outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), and according to organizational policies, procedures, standards, and unit-specific protocols.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Evenings, 07:00 to 15:00, 14:00 to 22:00 (rotating)

Location: Prince George
