We’re seeking a Lead Dental Hygienist to join and help guide our evolving clinical team. This is more than a hygiene role; it's a leadership position for someone ready to implement best practices, elevate patient care, and build and mentor a high-performing team.

Why Join Us?

  • Be a Driver of Change
Play a key role in developing and refining hygiene protocols as we redefine what modern dentistry looks and feels like.

  • Step Into Leadership
Mentor and guide fellow hygienists, foster a collaborative team culture, and champion clinical excellence across the practice.

  • Bring Pride to Patient Care
Deliver top-tier, personalized care in a practice that puts patients first and supports providers in doing their best work.

  • Thrive in a Collaborative Culture
We foster a positive, team-first environment with strong professional support and an emphasis on growth and accountability.

Your Role:

  • Lead the hygiene department, implement evidence-based protocols, and maintain clinical excellence

  • Develop efficient systems that enhance patient outcomes and improve hygiene workflows

  • Perform all aspects of clinical hygiene: scaling, root planing, polishing, fluoride, sealants, whitening

  • Educate and motivate patients toward better oral health through prevention-focused care

  • Support a practice culture grounded in professionalism, ethics, and patient-centered service

  • Work closely with leadership to onboard new team members and drive practice-wide improvements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Registered Dental Hygienist with 5+ years of experience

  • Proven ability to lead, collaborate, and motivate a team

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

  • Commitment to continued growth and professional development

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Compensation & Signing Bonus
We recognize the value of experience and leadership. That’s why we offer a competitive wage ($60/Hour, based on experience) plus a signing bonus for the right candidate ready to lead and make an impact.

  • Extended Health & Wellness Benefits
Enjoy comprehensive extended health benefits designed to support your well-being, including medical, dental, prescription coverage, and access to free virtual health services through Dialogue.

  • Total Rewards Package
Take advantage of exclusive discounts on gyms, travel, retail, home and auto insurance, pet insurance, and more – all part of a rewards package built to support your lifestyle.

  • Career Development & Learning
We’re invested in your growth. Gain access to industry-leading continuing education through the DC Institute and discounted membership to rdhu, so you can stay ahead of the curve and continue to evolve in your profession.

  • Professional Networking & CE Opportunities
Connect and collaborate with other dental professionals through continuing education events, peer learning opportunities, and a supportive clinical network.

  • Flexible Scheduling & Real Work-Life Balance
Enjoy a schedule that works for your life (with no evenings or weekends) so you can maintain a healthy balance between your career and personal time.

  • A Supportive, People-First Culture
Join a team led by passionate professionals who believe in mentorship, mutual respect, and continuous improvement. We celebrate wins, support each other, and foster a culture where every voice matters.

At Eckhardt Dental Centre, your ideas matter, your leadership is welcomed, and your career growth is supported. We’re creating a practice built on purpose, progress, and people – and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to lead the way.
