WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

As a Lead Business Systems Analyst in the Compliance Technology team, you will execute all aspects of requirements delivery and data analysis - planning, elicitation, analysis and documentation, along with requirements management. You will play a core role in translating business requirement documents into functional requirements to design and implement new scenarios to provide surveillance to detect potential market misconduct.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Elicit and document functional and system requirements for Trade Compliance projects for Capital Markets and Wealth Management
  • Develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of details and accuracy of estimates
  • Build and maintain on Confluence a repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future initiatives, following the enterprise standards
  • Interact with source systems teams that will provide data for trade, market, client and reference data for Compliance Applications
  • Manage data acquisition and data mapping activities
  • Work with the ETL team, developers, Vendor consultants and numerous data sources to gather data requirements and mapping specifications
  • Provide BSA support to development team and quality assurance team during development, testing and implementation
  • Participate in implementation planning, data preparation and post implementation validation
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
  • 5+ years of experience with business systems analysis in an agile (Scrum) environment
  • Experience with defining and documenting complex functional business logic and data mapping specifications within the Investment Industry (knowledge of investment products and their trade life cycle)
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and working knowledge of databases: Oracle, MS SQL Server or MySQL (SQL scripting)
  • Expertise in test planning, test case preparation and testing of applications and data mapping
  • Expertise in managing various stakeholder expectations in delivering project deliverables
Nice-to-have:
  • Experience in working with large projects with multiple data sources and system interfaces
  • Experience with software development methods and life cycle, hands on Python scripting
  • Ability to analyze and understand database schema for data mapping
  • Ability to work with a global business group and requirements
