About Lawn 'N' Order Custom Landscapes

We're a Winnipeg-based design, build, and maintenance firm. From high-end patios to meticulous garden care, we create outdoor spaces that make neighbours jealous — and we invest heavily in the people who make it happen.

The Opportunity

This hybrid role lets you rotate between our Construction and Maintenance crews. You'll learn the full landscape cycle site prep, stonework, grading, mowing, pruning, seasonal clean-ups so you can pivot wherever the schedule needs you.

$17 – $20 / hr to start (90-day & seasonal reviews)

40–50 hrs / week, April – Nov (OT after 50 hrs per MB landscape exemption)

Winter extension (snow routes & shop work) for strong performers

Performance bonuses & boot discounts

Typical day 8a.m. – 6 p.m.; occasional Saturdays

Red Seal Landscape Horticulturist Apprenticeship, ICPI Training, and Other continuous improvement training courses, for committed team members

What You’ll Do

Construction days

  • Build patios, walkways, steps, retaining walls, drainage solutions
  • Excavate, grade, place base aggregate, set stone to spec
  • Operate skid-steers, mini-excavators, compactors, saws, and various other equipment
  • Document work & photos in LMN mobile app

Maintenance / garden days

  • Weekly mowing, trimming, edging
  • Weed, dead-head, mulch, and care for shrubs & perennials
  • Fertilize, aerate, and handle spring / fall clean-ups
  • Document work & photos in LMN mobile app
What You Bring
  • Attitude over résumé hunger to learn beats years of experience

  • Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work in all weather
  • Manitoba Class 5 driver's licence
  • Safety-first mindset & respect for teammates and clients
  • Nice-to-haves (we'll possibly train if you don't have them yet): First Aid / CPR, any landscape / hort courses, relevant experience.
