Job description

Edson, with a population of 8646, is a town in west-central Alberta, located in Yellowhead County, 192 kilometres west of Edmonton. The Town of Edson's strategic location on the Trans-Canada Yellowhead Highway allows Edson to benefit from private, commercial, and industrial traffic. This highway carries some of the heaviest traffic flow in Alberta, with a summer daily traffic flow of approximately 9,900 vehicles. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) I, you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples within the laboratory department. You will perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures in the processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment and research.
