  • A Bachelor degree in Mathematics or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • At least 4 months of teaching experience with college-level mathematics.
  • Familiarity with mathematics software and graphing technology.

Laboratory Facilitator, Mathematics

$31.14 per hour (with wage increments to a max of $34.96 per hour). Salary and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Science in Mathematics or equivalent degree from a recognized post‑secondary educational institution. Some Graduate level study in Mathematics or Education is preferred.
  • At least 4 months of experience teaching college‑level mathematics to groups of students.
  • Working knowledge of current mathematics software and graphing technology.
  • Demonstrated experience speaking to groups and preparing written materials and explanatory solutions for mathematics labs.
  • Good working knowledge of the English language (written and verbal)
Additional Information
  • This temporary part‑time (12 hours per week) position is available starting January 5, 2026 to April 24, 2026.
  • Days of work fall between Mondays to Fridays. Shift days and times may change depending on the Department’s need. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required.
  • The position is located at the Coquitlam campus; however, successful candidates must be available for occasional work at the New Westminster campus.
