Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced L3 Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of global IT infrastructure solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of networking, hosting (cloud and on-premise), endpoint security, and integration of enterprise systems. The successful candidate will serve as the final technical escalation point, drive infrastructure initiatives, and ensure security, scalability, and high availability across the landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a senior technical authority, engaging with multiple domains and business units to translate demand into secure and scalable solutions.
  • Define and implement cloud-based and hybrid infrastructure solutions, including high availability and disaster recovery designs.
  • Lead data center, hosting, endpoint, and network security initiatives to safeguard enterprise systems.
  • Analyze current infrastructure, identify gaps, and develop future-state roadmaps and implementation plans.
  • Oversee data migration, integration, and consolidation efforts during large-scale initiatives such as Mergers & Acquisitions.
  • Install, configure, and support:
    • Windows & Linux servers, Active Directory, ADFS, and Azure AD.
    • Networking technologies: SD-WAN, MPLS, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Firewalls/IDS/IPS, VPN, IPsec/GRE, IPAM, UTM.
    • Security solutions: NGFW, WAF, CASB, SIEM, DDoS mitigation, vulnerability management.
  • Support and optimize enterprise platforms including SAP S/4HANA, Exchange, VDI, Proxy/Load Balancers, and Hyperconverged Infrastructure (Nutanix preferred).
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, TCL) to improve efficiency.
  • Drive documentation, SOP creation, governance, and compliance alignment with CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, and other frameworks.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for infrastructure operations teams, ensuring problem resolution and trend analysis.
  • Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning activities.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams (Security Ops, Identity, Infrastructure Ops, Applications, Cyber Governance) to deliver end-to-end IT services.
  • Manage and govern external partners/vendors, ensuring quality and secure delivery.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to shape infrastructure strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, building, and supporting enterprise/global infrastructure.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Azure Cloud architecture & Microsoft security stack (Defender ATP, MDE, MDI, MDC).
    • Networking protocols & technologies: IPv6, OSPF, BGP, VPN, GRE, IPsec, QoS.
    • Security frameworks & tools: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, AV, DoS/DDoS, CDN, CASB, SIEM.
    • Core IT Infrastructure: Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, RADIUS, clustering, certificate management.
    • Backup/DR: Veeam, SCOM, SCCM, Horizon VDI.
  • Experience with Merger & Acquisition (M&A) due diligence and integration.
  • Knowledge of OT security, SASE, SD-WAN, cloud-native technologies (containers, CI/CD, IaC automation).
  • Strong vendor management and coaching skills in outsourced environments.
Certifications (Preferred/Required)
  • Security Certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC suite.
  • Networking: CCNP/CCDP/CCIE/CCDE.
  • Cloud: Microsoft Certified Azure Solution Architect.
  • Best Practices: ITIL v3/v4.
