Job summary

A leading food processing solutions firm located in Metro Vancouver is seeking an Assistant Engineer. The role involves assisting in the design of food processing equipment, conducting audits, and providing technical support. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience in food processing equipment design. This position offers an opportunity for growth, as candidates with additional experience may be considered for a Project Engineer role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in food processing equipment design.
  • Able to travel regularly to domestic and international job sites.
  • Registered or qualified to be registered as Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer under EGBC.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Engineer in modeling/ designing food processing equipment.
  • Conduct regular audits on food processing equipment at customer job sites.
  • Provide technical support for end users and service teams.
