A leading shipbuilding company in Dartmouth, Canada is seeking a Junior Combat Systems Engineer to support the Combat Systems Team in delivering advanced combat capabilities for the River Class Destroyer program. Responsibilities include technical oversight, risk management, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure system compliance. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and familiarity with maritime combat capabilities. Play a key role in delivering advanced combat capabilities for the River Class Destroyer (RCD) program. As part of the Combat Systems Team, you will help ensure that the systems deployed on RCD ships are designed, integrated, tested, and accredited to meet the operational needs of the Royal Canadian Navy.
Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Please note this position requires a full‑time, in‑office presence.
