The Role

Foray Education is seeking to hire a Junior Business Analyst - Education to join our team and support our Child Care Centres. The Education Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Education team by managing a variety of administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all location. This role involves handling responsibilities such as managing contracts, scheduling maintenance, overseeing month end, coordinating reports, and ensuring compliance with childcare regulations.

Education & Qualifications
  • Post‑secondary degree in Business Administration, Administrative Studies or similar field and or relevant working experience
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a childcare or educational organization.
  • Possesses basic - intermediate Excel skills, including efficient data entry, formatting, sorting, and basic formula functions, achieving 75% on the Excel test.
  • Demonstrates basic - intermediate proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite, including effective organization and email management in Outlook, clear formatting and presentation design in PowerPoint, and solid document editing and layout skills in Word.
Duties & Responsibilities
Administrative Tasks
  • Supports the education team by consolidating and coordinating information for administrative tasks, managing operations, overseeing contract renewals, and tracking maintenance schedules across all locations to ensure smooth and timely follow‑up on essential activities.
  • Perform other tasks as needed to support the effective operation of each location.
  • Schedule and coordinate services for the organization, such as maintenance, cleaning, and deliveries.
  • Track service provider performance, ensuring they meet quality standards and addressing issues or delays with vendors.
  • Assist in preparing documents and reports needed for licensing renewals, audits, or compliance reviews.
  • Maintain records of staff certifications, ensuring that all required training and qualifications are up to date.
  • Review current procedures and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Record‑Keeping & Compliance
  • Handle CSIS submissions, enrollment summary discrepancies, and potential days reports for accurate record‑keeping for all center locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee training and certification, such as ECE Membership Renewals and CRCs.
  • Fee collection; ensure the policy is followed and that location have contracts in place for all outstanding accounts as per the policy.
  • Ensure accurate fee charging, collection, and tracking, including maintaining the Full Fee Registry, collection summaries, and managing outstanding fees, invoices, and write‑offs.
  • Work with Education team to manage, track, and process subsidies and funding payments to service providers.
Planning & Communication
  • Initiate communications with others internally and externally to obtain information, close the communication loop, and ensure follow‑through.
  • Read, research, and route correspondence, draft letters and documents.
  • Assist with ad hoc duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Collaborate with the Education team to gather information and insights.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Assist with generating reports and creating dashboards as needed to support management with key data at‑ready.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources (internal, external competitors).
  • Present findings and recommendations to management or relevant stakeholders.
  • Create visualizations, charts, and graphs to effectively communicate information.
  • Use technology to streamline reporting and presenting information and analytics.
