Job Description

Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a locum to assist at the Roblin Health Centre. Duties include performing all duties associated with a family practice, including diagnosing and treating diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients, acting as the primary care provider and providing continuous care toward the management of patients’ health. The physician may also share in the Emergency Department on-call schedule.

Work Environment Details

The Roblin District Health Centre is a 25-bed acute care facility located in Roblin, Manitoba. The Health Centre houses the following departments and services: Acute Medicine Service; EKG; Laboratory Testing; Outpatient Service; Palliative Care; Telehealth; X-Ray; and 24 Hour Emergency Service.

The Crocus Court Personal Care Home is a 60-bed long-term care facility that provides 24-hour nursing and personal care services including 1 respite bed located in Roblin, Manitoba. The Crocus Court Personal Care Home also has an adult day program for residents.

Roblin is situated at the western gateway to Manitoba's Parkland region and offers a relaxed rural lifestyle with a lower cost of living than urban centres, affordable housing, available jobs, and numerous events and recreational activities. It is called the "Jewel of the Parkland".
