A prominent Canadian university is seeking an Exam Invigilator to ensure proper exam conditions and assist students during assessments. Responsibilities include setting up examination rooms, managing exam delivery, and addressing student concerns. Candidates should have a High School Diploma and must be client-focused with strong communication skills. This part-time position offers an hourly salary of $18. The application deadline is December 12, 2025, and exams will be held on the Outaouais campus.
Responsible for setting up the examination room according to specific requirements as well as ensuring that equipment and facilities are functioning properly. Administers the delivery of the electronic and paper exams and documentation accordingly. Handles students’ problems and directs them to IT support or Chief Exam Invigilator as needed. Responsible to report any behavior by students or others that does not comply with University regulations. Ensures that all mobile and web‑accessible electronic devices are collected from the students prior to the start of the examination and returned upon their departure. Ensures that students are accompanied to the washroom. Alerts professor or Chief Exam Administrator when students have a question. At the end of the examination period, collects all exam materials and ensures nothing is left behind in the examination room(s). Responsible for reporting back to the professor or Chief Exam Administrator and ensuring delivery of the exams.

If you are selected to be an Invigilator, please be advised that you will not yet be confirmed a shift. The allocation of a shift will be in accordance to article 13.01 in the Invigilation Collective Agreement whereby selected Invigilators will be confirmed a shift based on priority pool and availability.
