Acushnet Canada Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Analyst with our Titleist team.

What You Will Be Doing

The position will be responsible for maximizing the efficiency of Titleist inventories (golf balls, golf clubs, gloves, headwear, bags and accessories) to deliver company sales and financial targets through timely availability and minimization of obsolete and slow‑moving inventory. Further, this position will be responsible for the administration of the sales forecasting and thorough analysis of all finished good products for the Titleist brand.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Accurately and proactively maintain, analyze and support all data and reporting systems required to execute forecasting, procurement and availability reporting of all assigned Titleist products in a timely manner
  • Analyze inventory position and recommend optimal procurement plans in a proactive and disciplined manner
  • Execute procurement activities as approved with vendors in alignment with forecasts and proactive inventory management
  • Proactively manage inventory levels in alignment to sales forecasts, create and issue purchase orders / distribution orders
  • Support the sales forecasting process through trend analysis and current sales data
  • Maintain all system information and records to support purchasing activities and order processing
  • Lead slow and obsolete inventory process, including liaison to finance for identifying obsolete and inventory reserves
Qualifications
  • Post‑secondary degree in business, supply chain management, logistics or a related area
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in demand planning
  • Excellent Excel skills including the ability to complete complex spreadsheet analysis using advanced functions, pivot tables and graphing
  • Working knowledge of MRP concepts and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all supply chain function areas
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organization and time‑management skills, attention to detail
  • Proficient with a PC; must have excellent Microsoft Office skills including Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP systems and reporting software an asset
  • Must be able to sit for long periods
