Insurance Sales Producer

As an Insurance Sales Producer with Western Financial Group, you will use your insurance expertise to ensure customers have the coverage they need. You will be required to build a book of business through prospecting clients, market research, and networking. This is a hybrid work opportunity.

  • Support new and existing customers by offering recommendations for products and services required
  • Promote retention of existing customers by building strong relationships and providing quality customer service
  • Navigate multiple insurance partner online portals to complete customer applications
  • Quote new business through outbound calls and walk-in clients
  • Communicate with insurance company Underwriters to ensure evolving guidelines are met
  • Prospect and up-sell to clients on all lines of business sold
  • Liaise between client and external insurance partners to ensure fair and proper representation for both parties
  • Continuous self-development, through industry and community involvement, and industry related courses

  • General Insurance Level 2 License required
  • Experience providing excellent customer service
  • Must be able to communicate professionally in person, over the phone, and through email
  • Experience managing a book of business or relatable work experience
  • A desire to learn new systems and processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different work environments
  • Passionate about helping people, self-driven, and determined to succeed

Hours: Full-time / 37.5 hour/week

Location: Kelowna, BC

Compensation: This is a fully commissoned role with 50% New Business Commission & 30% Renewal Commission and a Guaranteed Minimum Income component
