Job summary

A local educational institution in Fort McMurray is seeking a qualified Driving Instructor for the MELT Program. This term position requires a valid class 1 drivers license and certification as a MELT Class 1 driver instructor. The Opportunity

The School of Trades & Technology is looking for a MELT DRIVING INSTRUCTOR approved by Alberta Transportation. This instructor position will be on term basis to meet driver training course opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Proof of a valid class 1 drivers license
  • Qualified MELT Class 1 driver instructor
  • Proof of an acceptable driving record (no more than 6 demerit points, and no drivers license suspensions or cancellations within a two year period)
  • Current Criminal Record check including a Vulnerable Sector check dated within 90 days of application
  • Be willing to travel to Edmonton and surrounding areas if needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous adult teaching experience considered an asset.
  • Proof of Certifications are required.
