Inside Sales Representative – Full-Time – Milton, ON

Fresh Start Foods is currently hiring a Full-Time Permanent Inside Sales Representative who is eager to work in a fast paced team oriented work environment at our Milton, Ontario location.

Position: Full Time, Permanent
Salary and Allowance: From $42,500/year plus uncapped sales commissions, and company paid cell phone
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative provides friendly and efficient customer service, order processing and delivery support to customers via phone, email and internet. Strengthens customer relationships through strong product knowledge and product application, delivery coordination, and error resolution.

Key Responsibilities/What You Will Do

• Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, strengthening loyalty through expert product knowledge and efficient service.
• Order Processing & Management: Manually manage and audit customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completing timely callbacks/emails to confirm edits.
• Sales Support & Liaison: Act as the strategic liaison between Outside Sales Representatives and clients, providing critical updates on inventory levels and product availability.
• Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with the Transportation department to arrange exception deliveries and manage 3rd party delivery systems.
• Sales Penetration: Identify opportunities to increase account share by suggesting new products and solutions to existing customers.
• Data Integrity: Perform high-speed 10-key data entry to ensure all orders and customer information are accurately recorded in the system.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in Inside Sales, Account Coordination, or high-level Customer Service.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver information clearly and professionally.
• Strategic Thinking: An inquisitive and innovative mindset with the ability to problem-solve complex business issues.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with 10-key data entry and navigating multi-platform order systems.
• Organizational Mastery: A self-starter capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Detail Oriented: High focus on accuracy to minimize order errors and ensure food safety/regulatory compliance.
