Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Supervisor to cooperatively lead our team in ensuring the optimal performance of our industrial equipment and tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, along with the ability to analyze and install the following; all styles of racking systems, sectional, roller, and high speed doors, dock levelers. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.


• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance strategies.


• Analyze schematics and blueprints to understand system layouts.


• Operate forklift controlling the time management of the installation team and keeping on pace as required


• Train team members on best practices for industrial maintenance, safety protocols, and equipment operation.


• Collaborate with other supervisors to schedule daily activities with minimal disruption to production.

Experience

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field, with a focus on dock and door systems.


• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues quickly.


• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising a team in an industrial setting.


• A commitment to safety standards and practices within an industrial environment.


• A minimum of 10 years experience working with industrial doors


• Conversant with electrical interlocking doors with racking systems


• Proven site supervisor


• Fork lift truck license
