POSITION SCOPE:

The IPQA Inspector performs in process manufacturing and packaging quality assurance checks to maintain process control, performs sampling, provides guidance/operational training as required & completes associated documentation to ensure that all quality standards & product specification requirements are satisfied.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
  • Audit floor activities, e.g. manufacturing and packaging processes to ensure product specific requirements are met & completed. Record audit results on a timely basis.
  • Perform line clearance checks for manufacturing and filling processes in accordance with company SOPs.
  • Perform AQL activities for product in accordance with company SOPs.
  • Perform in-process quality checks for manufacturing and packaging processes in accordance with company SOPs.
  • Perform in-process quality checks for manufacturing and packaging documents in accordance with company SOPs.
  • Review Batching production documents & Fill Sheets.
  • Provide guidance including on-line training to maintain process control when required.
  • Review Statistical Process Control Charts (SPC) & production Fill Sheets.
  • Generate reports as required including Rework, On-Hold & Rejection reports.
  • Ensure all in process quality and product-sampling requirements are complete, documented, and transferred to its testing and/or storage location e.g. Legal Retain, Line Standard, Micro, Customer, PLMA etc are completed on a timely & orderly basis.
  • Maintain an orderly filing system.
  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures for GMP, GDP and health and safety, including donning health and safety personal protective equipment as outlined in the health and safety manual.
  • Identify and report any hazard(s), accidents, and injuries requiring first aid, health care, lost-time injuries, occupational diseases or incidents in the workplace.
  • Use equipment, materials and machinery only as trained and authorized.
  • Assist in failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework /repair of non-conforming manufactured product to determine root cause.
  • Promote and support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities at Apollo.
  • Any other related duties as required.
EXPERIENCE:

1-3 years’ experience with college diploma or post-secondary education or other job required certification or license required.
