Overview

Terms of employment- This job is for a full-time position (40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work is required. Job start date is as soon as possible

Language required – French or English.

Salary- Wage offered is between $17 and 19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the provincial minimum wage rate changes.

Location- PaNa.. live in the city of Westmount, in Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (bus # 165). The major intersection is Cote des Neiges / Remembrance Road

Responsibilities

• This job is for helping the employers care for their four youngest children, ages #15 yrs, #12 yrs, #7 yrs, and #6 yrs old.
• Supervision of children when parents are not at home
• Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• work with a flex schedule and another worker
• Plan, prepare and serve meals for children. Kitchen clean-up is also required
• General housework that will include doing laundry and ironing
• Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment

Qualifications

• Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education.
• Must have at least one year of work related experience as a caregiver.
• Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision.
