Job summary

The Salvation Army TSA in Canada seeks a Senior Case Manager to supervise residents at Cuthbert House and support case planning, ensuring safety and adherence to policies. You will coordinate with caseworkers, report progress, and uphold the organization’s mission.

This role requires a college diploma in Social Service Work, Corrections, or Childcare, plus First Aid & CPR, Crisis Intervention training, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Formal post-secondary college diploma (2 years) in Social Service Work, Corrections, or Childcare.
• First Aid & CPR Training.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Driver's license required.
• Food Handling Certificate.
• Alternative education/experience combinations may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Actively supervise residents in the facility and in the community.
• Monitor client activities and assist with case plans.
• Report client progress and status changes to the Caseworker.
• Complete duties, logs, and reports per shift description.
• Maintain therapeutic relationships and address issues as they arise.
• Refer clients to appropriate resources and counseling when needed.
• Follow policies of Cuthbert House, The Salvation Army, and MCCSS.
