Job summary

The Salvation Army Canada is seeking a dedicated social services professional to support case management across community programs. The role emphasizes helping individuals navigate barriers to crisis and poverty and to connect them with essential services.

You will lead case coordination, provide in-home training, work with partners, and help develop program materials while ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards. This is a client-centred, collaborative position.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal post-secondary/college diploma program in Social Services or related field.
• Two years of prior related experience in a social service setting.
• First Aid/CPR, WHMIS, and Non-violent crisis intervention training would be valued assets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Canva is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop case plans and coordinate referrals for clients across Canada.
• Provide home visits and in-home training for program participants.
• Support relevant volunteers and co-workers in implementing programming across multiple sites.
• Complete monthly reports and end-of-project assessments.
• Assist Management with policy development and learning materials.
