The Salvation Army Grace Mansion in Vancouver is seeking a Transitional Housing Support Worker (Casual). The role supports residents with personal development, life skills, and social activities to help them reach their potential.

You will work with program staff to supervise residents, respond to inquiries, and coordinate resources with community partners. Requirements include a high school diploma, First Aid/CPR, and willingness to be trained in crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma is required or asset for related field.
• Current Certification in First Aid/CPR is required.
• Training in Addictions/Mental Health issues or willingness to be trained is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide residential support and monitor residents during assigned shifts.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate records; manage intake and waitlist as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and crises; coordinate with external agencies as necessary.
• Assist with rent collection and financial handling per protocol.
