Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Front Desk Worker for its supportive housing program in Canada. You will be the primary contact for tenants, respond to inquiries and complaints, conduct wellness checks, and maintain a safe, respectful environment in a 24/7 facility.

Responsibilities include recording daily activities, coordinating with external agencies, and ensuring policy compliance while providing compassionate support to tenants.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a 2-year Community College program will be a strong asset.
• Criminal Record Check is required.
• CPR, First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Training an asset.
• Computer ability is required.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the main point of contact for all tenants.
• Handles inquiries and complaints from tenants.
• Conducts wellness checks where required.
• Liaises with referral sources and other external agencies as needed.
• Performs other assigned job-related duties to ensure a safe environment.
