Overview

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Note: Must reside in Washington State. We offer flexible work arrangements including remote, hybrid, and in-office at our clients Kirkland, WA location. In-office time will be required during onboarding.

Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have at least 2 years of family law paralegal/legal assistant experience under an attorney in a law firm setting.

Job Description
  • Manage family law cases alongside attorneys from start to finish
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and guidance
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, child support worksheets, and parenting plans
  • Prepare and review financial records, case files, and supporting documentation
  • Organize trial preparation, exhibits, and witness binders
  • Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and experts regarding hearings and deadlines
  • Handle calendaring, reminders, and billing entry across multiple cases
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of family law paralegal/legal assistant experience in a law firm setting
  • Paralegal certificate or advanced paralegal training
  • Strong understanding of Washington family law and court procedures
  • Skilled in case management and billing software (Clio experience a plus)
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage billable hours and work independently while collaborating with attorneys
