Job description

We are a primary special school catering for pupils from across the Wakefield District who have severe and profound learning difficulties. Many pupils have additional needs including autism, VI, HI, physical disability and medical needs.

The School operates on two sites, Stanley and Castleford. The post is a split-site role but the postholder will primarily be based at the school’s Castleford site. The successful candidate must be willing and able to work on either or both sites.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a permanent Human Resources Officer as soon as possible to work in this very successful school to Support the Senior Management Team and HR Manager in the implementation of all HR policies and procedures, with key aspects being the administration of recruitment, health and safety, and the deployment of staff (including day to day deployment, recruitment, sickness management).

The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team of dedicated staff.
