Your Role: More Than Just HR

As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you’ll be at the center of our people strategy, working closely with leaders and employees to foster a thriving, engaged workplace. This is not a back‑office HR role—you’ll be in the action, rolling up your sleeves and driving meaningful change.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Labor Relations & Union Partnership – Provide hands‑on HR support in a unionized environment, from grievance resolution to proactive labor relations strategies. Support collective bargaining with data‑driven insights.
  • Employee Experience & Engagement – Build a workplace where employees feel valued and supported. Lead initiatives that boost morale and create a strong workplace culture.
  • Leadership Influence – Act as a strategic advisor to managers and senior leaders, guiding them on HR best practices and people decisions.
  • Workforce Planning & Performance – Help leaders align their teams for success, focusing on career development and performance management strategies.
  • HR Metrics & Insights – Use data to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and measure impact.
  • Policy & Compliance – Ensure HR policies align with employment laws, collective agreements, and company values.
What You Bring to the Table
  • HR Experience – 5 to 7 years in an HR generalist, HRBP, or similar role.
  • Labor Relations Savvy – Experience in a unionized environment with a track record of supporting bargaining processes.
  • People & Culture Leadership – Strong ability to advise and influence leaders at all levels.
  • Problem‑Solving Mindset – You don’t just identify challenges—you solve them.
  • Results‑Driven – Thrives in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Education & Certification – Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field. CHRP/CHRL designation preferred.
  • Tech Skills – Comfortable with Excel (reporting and tracking), PowerPoint (creating and presenting), and HR data analysis.
  • Compensation Management – Solid understanding of salary administration, job evaluations, and market benchmarking, with the ability to support leaders in making fair, data‑informed compensation decisions.

  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint Skills – Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data visualization, and presentation mastery.
  • Hospitality Industry Experience – A background in a client‑service‑oriented industry.
