Job Description
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (~70%)
- Post job ads on platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, internal channels and manage external sourcing efforts.
- Screen incoming applications, conduct phone/virtual initial screens, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Build candidate pipelines, maintain strong candidate experience, and follow up with communication throughout the hiring process.
- Conduct reference checks, prepare offer letters and employment contracts (in collaboration with HR leadership).
- Maintain accurate applicant tracking information and support onboarding setup for new hires.
HR Administration & Operations (~30%)
- Prepare onboarding materials, co-ordinate equipment / access requests, schedule orientation and first-day logistics for new hires.
- Maintain employee records, update HRIS and ensure data integrity and compliance across AB, SK, ON and BC jurisdictions.
- Assist in scheduling performance reviews, training sessions and other HR events
- Support benefits administration (enrolments, queries) and general HR inquiries from employees.
- Draft internal communication (e-mails, memos) and HR letters, maintain filing of contracts, policies and forms.
- Provide ad-hoc HR project assistance (policy updates, recruitment metrics reporting, process improvements, HR Metrics).

Requirements
- 0-2 years of HR, recruiting or administrative experience (internships or co-op experience are a plus).
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline is required.
- Strong interest in recruitment and HR operations with a proactive “get-it-done” mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills; comfort interacting with candidates, hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
- Discretion and integrity; able to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Prior experience with HRIS/ATS (e.g., BambooHR, LinkedIn Recruiter) considered an asset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and support a high-volume recruiting function.
