Job summary

Holt Renfrew seeks a Specialist, HR Operations & HR Systems for a 9‑month contract to maintain and optimize HR processes and HRIS data. You will collaborate with Payroll, Audit & Privacy and other teams to support employee lifecycles while protecting confidentiality within the HR function.

The role requires 1–2 years HRIS experience (Workday preferred), a post-secondary degree, and strong customer service and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years HRIS system experience; Workday preferred.
• Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
• Experience with Jira/ServiceNow ticketing systems.
• Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Able to adapt to ambiguity and change.
• Highly service-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Interest in fashion and luxury retailing.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level customer service to internal/external customers via workflow management.
• Deliver process updates to HRBPs and applicant groups as needed.
• Plan for cyclical and long-term business needs with HR partners.
• Configure HRIS changes; test and deliver system updates.
• Manage HR Connect (Jira) including training and dashboards.
• Triage incoming requests; assign responsibilities as required.
• Ensure data accuracy and governance across HR records.
• Create periodic reports and contribute to executive dashboards.
• Conduct HRIS Testing and user training as needed.
• Create resources and training tools for employees.
• Identify areas to improve processes with data-driven recommendations.
• Maintain up-to-date procedural documentation.
• Assist audits and respond to inquiries with Internal Audit.
