Job summary

Holt Renfrew is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist (4 Month Contract) to partner with leaders and subject matter experts in designing, developing, implementing, and improving learning solutions across the organization.

You will support onboarding, capability development, change initiatives and technology adoption while focusing on performance improvement and inclusivity in the workplace.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in adult education, human resources, organizational development or relevant experience.
• 2–3 years’ experience in learning or HR with focus on training and development.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
• Experience with rapid eLearning development tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise 360).
• Experience with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite).

Responsibilities

• Support learning professionals to deliver learner-centric solutions meeting strategic objectives.
• Support all stages of the learning lifecycle including strategy, design, content development, delivery support, measurement and maintenance.
• Ensure quality and adherence to standards across programs.
• Collaborate with Learning Partners, HRBPs and COE communities.
• Evaluate training program efficiency and methodologies.
• Engage vendors to deliver learning solutions that meet objectives.
• Provide timely reporting on status and metrics.
• Promote inclusiveness and belonging in the workplace.

Job Description Summary

The Learning & Development Specialist (4 Month Contract) partners with business leaders and subject matter experts to design, develop, implement, and continuously improve learning solutions, supporting onboarding, capability development, change initiatives, technology adoption, and performance improvement across the organization.

What you'll do:

• Support a team of learning professionals to deliver learner centric solutions that meet strategic objectives
• Support all stages of the learning lifecycle including learning strategy, curriculum design, content development, delivery support, measurement and maintenance
• Ensure quality and adherence to standards are maintained across areas of responsibility/programs
• Work closely and collaboratively with the Learning Partners, HRBPs and HR COE communities
• Evaluate and measure efficiency of training programs and methodologies
• Identify, engage and partner with vendors and service providers to deliver learning solutions that are to standard and meet business objectives
• Assess individual results and provide relevant and timely reporting on status, progress and established L&D critical metrics.

What you bring:

• Post-secondary education with specialization in adult education, human resources, organizational development or relevant experience
• A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in human resources and/or learning, with a focus on training, talent development and adult learning
• Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
• Intermediate knowledge and experience with rapid eLearning development tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise 360)
• Intermediate knowledge and experience with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite)
