HR Generalist -- Talent & Employee Experience
Purpose

Drive the consistent application of key people processes across attraction, onboarding, development, and employee experience by coordinating and enabling the effective implementation of performance and development practices, supporting the use of the competency model, and facilitating close collaboration with leaders and the Human Resources Manager. This role strengthens accountability, improves individual and team performance, and elevates employee satisfaction through a consistent, people-centered employee experience.

Main Functions and Responsibilities
Talent Attraction & Selection

Coordinate and manage recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and evaluation processes.

Ensure a consistent, positive, and professional candidate experience aligned with QPI’s values and culture.

Partner with hiring leaders to support timely hiring decisions aligned with technical requirements, competencies, and cultural fit.

Support effective onboarding transitions to promote early engagement and successful integration.

Performance & Development Processes

Coordinate performance review cycles and probationary follow-ups to ensure consistency and timeliness.

Consolidate performance inputs and documentation to support objective, structured feedback.

Support leaders in conducting meaningful feedback and development conversations aligned with goals and competency expectations.

Promote accountability and continuous improvement at the individual and team level.

Employee Experience & Engagement

Support onboarding follow-ups and key employee lifecycle touchpoints to ensure a smooth and engaging employee experience.

Facilitate clear communication and coordination across HR processes affecting employees and leaders.

Promote a respectful, people-centered work environment that supports engagement, retention, and productivity.

Assist with engagement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance employee satisfaction.

People Process Enablement

Support leaders and employees in the day-to-day use of people frameworks including the competency model, performance tools, and development practices.

Provide guidance during implementation and identify gaps between defined processes and practical application.

Partner with the HR Manager to support continuous improvement of people processes and leadership effectiveness.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, equivalent directly related work experience may be considered

2–5 years of HR Generalist or related HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing or operations environment.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, service-oriented approach.

Working knowledge of recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement practices.

Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
