Position: Full‑Time / Seasonal

Starting Wage: $18.50–$20.00/hour (depending on experience)

How you’ll make an impact:
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms: make beds, replace linens, sanitize bathrooms
  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas and common spaces
  • Handle laundry duties and assist with linen inventory
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and work collaboratively with the team, comfortable interacting with the guests, greeting them warmly, asking about their stay and ensuring they feel valued and cared. Able to relay information of the Village and surrounding areas.
  • Follow health and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Previous housekeeping experience is an asset but not required
  • Responsibilities are not limited to housekeeping – may be asked to help in all of the departments within the hotel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Criminal record check required under Vantage Hotels policy
  • Good command of the English language.

  • Adaptability: Be prepared for changing priorities—helping in other departments (Front Desk, Food & Beverage, Maintenance) when needed.
  • Outdoor Conditions: You may need to navigate snowy or wet conditions when moving between buildings or assisting guests.
  • Extended Shifts: During holidays and peak weekends, longer shifts or split shifts may be required.

Rural Location: Valemount is a small mountain community with limited amenities compared to urban centers. Staff should plan for personal needs and seasonal changes.
