Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular rounds of hospital premises to ensure safety.
  • Operate security cameras and report suspicious activities.
  • Monitor entry points to restrict access to authorized individuals.
  • Respond quickly to emergencies and assist hospital staff.
  • Greet and assist visitors and patients.
  • De-escalate tense situations and resolve conflicts.
  • Document daily activities and report incidents.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff for coordinated security efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies.

Skills

Ability to obtain Security License for Nova Scotia
Valid Standard First Aid & CPR - Level C
Fluency in English (oral and written)
Experience in security or law enforcement
Certifications in Use of Force and Management of Aggressive Behavior

Education

High School Diploma/GED
