Stream of Dreams Murals Society is a local charity that runs eco-education programs for children. You may have seen our 'Fish on Fences' decorating school chain link fences all around BC! We need help preparing our program supplies for elementary school programs this fall. We mainly need help cutting and bending some larger spools of wire into smaller pieces that we use to secure the wooden fish to the fences. We will briefly meet with you at our office near Burnaby Lake or at the Edmonds Skytrain Station to provide you with all the necessary tools and instructions so that you can complete this task at home. This is perfect for high school students needing your volunteer hours and will make a big difference for us!
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
We will provide you with a letter of recommendation stating the hours you worked and sign any paperwork you may need to confirm your volunteer hours.
