- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Must be willing and able to pass a company driving test

Duties:
- Plan routes according to conditions using GPS
- Operate and drive manual straight or articulated (tractor-trailer) refrigeration trucks to transport goods and materials
- Maneuvering and backing up heavy trucks or trailers at various delivery sites, including narrow streets, back alleys, etc.
- Manually load and unload goods and hand-bomb them into customer locations
- Perform routine pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate records of delivery routes/distance travelled/hours of service, cargo information, fuel consumption, temperature logs, count sheets, and incident reporting
- Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment; and perform emergency roadside repairs as necessary
- Perform preventive maintenance and brake adjustments
- Provide professionalism in customer service
- Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch using Citizens Band (CB) radio
- Follow health and safety and work procedures
Other:
- The company will provide training on GPS and e-Logs.
