Job summary

Une entreprise de production graphique basée à Millbank, Ontario, recherche un designer graphique pour réaliser des conceptions et des illustrations. Le candidat idéal aura une formation en design ainsi qu'une expérience en conception numérique. Le poste nécessite de travailler en collaboration avec des clients pour répondre à leurs besoins graphiques. Une formation et un soutien sont fournis pour les nouveaux arrivants.

Qualifications

• Expérience de 7 mois à moins d'un an en conception graphique.
• Capacité à travailler dans un environnement multidisciplinaire.
• Aptitude à établir des lignes directrices pour illustrateurs ou photographes.

Responsibilities

• Estimer le temps nécessaire à la réalisation de conceptions graphiques et d'illustrations.
• Consultation avec des clients pour déterminer le contenu des illustrations.
• Développer des éléments graphiques qui répondent aux objectifs des clients.
• Produire des dessins animés 2-D et 3-D.

Job description

Overview

Education

• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
• or equivalent experience

Tasks

• Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations
• Adapt existing illustrations
• Assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions such as multimedia, interactive and digital products and television advertising and productions
• Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs
• Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations
• Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations
• Work in a multidisciplinary environment
• Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials
• Co-ordinate sub-contracting
• Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials
• Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication
• Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients\' objectives
• Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers
• Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements
• Process files and paperwork
