Job summary

Triple M Metal is seeking a General Labourer to inspect, grade, sort and process ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals. The role requires keeping the work area orderly to meet production goals and to operate a forklift or skid steer as needed.

We offer benefits and opportunities, with work hours Monday to Friday 8:00am–4:30pm and Saturdays as needed, at our facility in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working in a production, warehouse or landscaping environment.
• 1 year of experience operating fork lift or skid-steer (bob-cat), preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs the inspecting, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Maintains work location in orderly condition in order to achieve operational goals and objectives.
• Operates counterbalance forklift and/or skid steer in accordance with operation policies and procedures ensuring efficient material movement
• Process materials by breaking them down by commodity and removing all non-conforming material.

The General Labourer will be responsible for inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals and maintains work location in orderly condition in order to achieve operational goals and objectives. There is 3 vacancy for this position.
