Job summary

Triple M Metal LP is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in Brampton. The role involves operating Excavator, Front End Loader and Rock Truck on a rotating schedule. You will load scrap, sort materials, and ensure a safe, efficient yard environment while following all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Excavator, Front End Loader and Rock Truck.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• OSSD or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including Excavator, Scrap Handler, Front End Loader.
• Load scrap metal and sort, stack, and process materials as directed.
• Perform pre-operational checks and maintain safe, orderly work environment.
• Complete documentation and communicate via radio as needed.
• Follow company core values and safety protocols.

Compensation:

Based on experience. Starting at $29.22

When:

Days – Alternating Schedule

• Week 1 7:00AM to 7:00PM Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2 7:00AM to 7:00PM Wednesday & Thursday

What’s Expected:

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including Excavator, Scrap Handler, Front End Loader
• Operate various attachments as assigned (e.g. Grapple, Magnet etc.);
• Load scrap metal as assigned;
• Sort, stack, process materials as directed;
• Clean, lubricate, check and replenish fluids as directed;
• Complete pre-operational equipment check and other documentation as assigned;Operate two-way radio or other communication devices as required;
• Maintain a safe and orderly working environment;
• Other general duties as assigned by Manager.

What's Required:

• Previous experience operating Excavator, Front End Loader, Rock Truck;
• Must have a valid Driver’s License;
• Strong communication both written and verbal;
• OSSD or equivalent is preferred but not required.
