Job summary

Triple M Metal LP is seeking a dedicated Metal Warehouse Worker to inspect, grade, sort and process scrap metals at our North Bay facility. You will maintain an orderly yard and operate material handling equipment as needed to meet daily goals.

The role features weekday hours, some Saturday mornings, competitive benefits, and required background check. Prior production/warehouse experience is preferred to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working in a production, warehouse or landscaping environment.
• 1 year of experience operating forklift or skid-steer (bobcat), preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Maintains work location in orderly condition to achieve operational goals and objectives.
• Use computer system to input non-ferrous material codes and weight.
• Completes yard tickets and provides tickets to customers.
• Process materials by breaking them down by commodity and removing all non-conforming material.
• Provides exceptional customer service.

The Metal Warehouse Worker will be responsible for inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals and maintains work location in orderly condition to achieve operational goals and objectives. Wage:

• $19.37 per hour

When:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Every other Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
• Performs the inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Maintains work location in orderly condition to achieve operational goals and objectives.
• Use computer system to input non-ferrous material codes and weight.
• Completes yard tickets and provides tickets to customers.
• Process materials by breaking them down by commodity and removing all non-conforming material.
• Provides exceptional customer service.
• The successful applicant will be subject to a criminal background check.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience working in a production, warehouse or landscaping environment
• 1 year of experience operating forklift or skid-steer (bobcat), preferred but not required
