Job description

Cash for Trash is seeking resourceful and reliable individuals to contribute to and work as part of our team in the yard, as well as draining station, at our Stittsville location. This position is located outdoors, therefore you must be comfortable working outside!

The draining tech is responsible for safely removing all the the fluids from all incoming 'end of life vehicles'.

The ideal candidate will be hard-working, punctual, enjoy working with their hands, have flexible availability (since we are open 6 days a week) and enjoy working outdoors. Any experience or knowledge in operating a Loader and/or Skid steer is considered an asset.

Responsibilities Include:

-Safely drain all fluids from EOL vehicle

-Ensure scrap metal (rotors, shred, aluminum etc) is dumped in the appropriate area following safety rules and regulations

- Weigh, grade and sort scrap metal

- Any other general labour tasks as required

You will be provided with coveralls however you must have your own steel toe boots.

Please note there is no public transport where we are located, candidates MUST have reliable transportation!
