Metrie is hiring for General Labor - Production Utility positions in Bolton, ON!

**No Experience is Required!! Multiple Shifts are available. **

Shifts Available:

· Monday to Thursday Day Shift – 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

· Friday to Sunday Day Shift – 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours)

· Friday to Sunday Night Shift – 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours)

What will you be doing in the Production Utility position?

Operating Responsibilities:

· Prepping of bottom dunnage and crossers for production finished lifts.

· Ensure daily production continuously meets the requirements of IFOTIS (In full, On Time, In Spec).

· Repairing board supplier skids in preparation for the return.

· Draining and prepping paint/wastewater totes for return.

· Maintain supplies rack in a neat and organized fashion.

· Other responsibilities as assigned by supervision/management.

· Engaged in supporting MPS initiatives (i.e., Safety, SMED, Continuous Improvement, 6S, etc.).

· Lead by example to ensure Metrie’s core value is met; P.R.I.C.E (Passion, Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence).

· Lead by example, maintaining a positive attitude while treating all other colleagues and associates with respect.

· Promoting teamwork while keeping colleagues motivated and working efficiently.

· Provide positive feedback to fellow associates while soliciting feedback and opinions in return.

· Provide communication back to the supervision team when necessary.

Physical Demands:

· Occasional: Standing in the same location, Sitting.

· Lifting: Floor to the waist, waist to floor.

· Pushing / Pulling: Frequent when relocating production carts, and prepping dunnage materials.

· Hand-to-eye coordination and dexterity: Picking, pinching, holding, grasping, and repetitive rotation.
