6-month contract Fullstack Engineer (Angular/Java) role with an enterprise organization investing majorly into technology.

What & Why:

As a result of new projects our client is looking to add a contract back-end engineer to their growing team. This team focuses on building innovative technology solutions that enable the supply chain from raw materials to finished goods production. We are seeking a full-stack developer with strong expertise in modern web technologies (Angular, Java/SpringBoot) and cloud-native architectures to deliver secure, reliable, and performant applications supporting planning and execution activities. Working as part of a global, agile team, you'll mentor junior developers, drive automation, optimize performance, and collaborate with business and architecture partners to deliver industry-leading solutions that advance their strategic vision for optimized sourcing, manufacturing, and responsible supply chain practices.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment, 4 days a week in office.

You:

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor's Degree in IT Engineering or Computer Science, including full-stack development across the software development lifecycle.
  • 4+ years of front-end development expertise with Angular/AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and Bootstrap framework for building cross-browser compatible applications.
  • 4+ years developing enterprise Java/SpringBoot applications with solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns.
  • Strong cloud-native and data platform experience including 4+ years with AWS and Kubernetes, 3+ years with streaming data technologies (Kafka), and hands-on experience with relational/NoSQL databases (MongoDB), cloud data platforms (Snowflake), ETL processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Compensation:

This role pays between $75-90 per hour.
