A major IT services firm in Montreal is looking for a developer to join its banking development team. This role focuses on monitoring front-office activities through the Volcker Metrics Repository application. Candidates need strong .NET and Azure skills, along with 7+ years of experience. Bilingualism in French and English is required, as regular collaboration with U.S. partners is involved. The aim of our banking development team at CGI Montreal is to deliver day‑to‑day services to investment and corporate banking units and their clients to accelerate their transformation. Our banking development team differentiates itself through the pace of its agile transformation, the spread of a strong technology and data culture, the streamlining of decision‑making processes, and the adoption of an industrial approach supported by transversal teams as well as teams aligned with specific business units.
The Development team belongs to the Cross Risk Metrics (XRM) department, which supports and develops tools for the risk function. You will join a team of 4 people responsible for the Volcker Metrics Repository (VMR) application. This application monitors front‑office activities worldwide and provides scoring to ensure that activities remain compliant with Volcker and French Banking Law regulations.

The determination of this range includes factors such as skill level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000 – $115,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
