Job description

Edge Hill Country School is in search of a Waldorf trained Kindergarten teacher. We are an independent school offering education inspired by the Waldorf curriculum for children from Kindergarten to Grade 8. Edge Hill is situated outside the town of Durham, Ontario in Grey County on the edge of farmland in an original Ontario schoolhouse with three other buildings on a natural playground. We are within half an hour of the beauty of the Bruce Peninsula on Lake Huron and about two hours north of Toronto, Canada’s largest city. We have a working Board of Directors and a highly involved parent community. Edge Hill School is a non-profit organization.

We are now accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Kindergarten Teacher, for the upcoming 2025-26 school year, for 4 days/week.

• Waldorf Early Childhood training
• ECE Certificate
• Teaching experience
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of Waldorf teaching practices
• Ability to work as part of a team with the existing faculty group
