Software Engineer
Location: Chantilly, VA
Active TS/SCI w/ FS Poly required
Introduction: We are seeking a Software Engineer to support an office responsible for clearance processing of all individuals with access to Customer data and facilities. This position is based in Chantilly, VA, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. The role involves working within a specialized team to enhance communication and workflow processes by optimizing communication using cross-domain network solutions (e.g., unsecure to secure network connections) in conjunction with software development.
Required Skills:
- Analyzing client/business requirements and designing appropriate cloud-based systems and architectures.
- Developing, testing, and debugging cloud-native applications using programming languages like Python, Java, REACT, Node, and JavaScript.
- Developing, testing, and debugging cloud serverless functions.
- Developing, testing, and debugging web-based UI pages to ingest data and generate JSON, CSV, and TXT files.
Desired Skills:
- Linux administration, including bash scripting, cron jobs, and remote access.
- Knowledge of cross-domain services like AWS Diode.
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring and security features such as AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, etc.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Monitoring performance metrics and system optimization.
- Collaborating with development teams and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Implementing best practices for security, compliance, and access control.
- Performing risk and vulnerability scans using cloud-based tools.
- Ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient.
- Renewing security certificates and tokens.
