About the role :

As a Front-End Engineer, you will play a key role in building visually appealing, responsive, and high-performance web applications and user interfaces for the Made platform. You will collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and product teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Your work will directly impact the user experience, helping to bring seamless and engaging applications to our growing audience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and implement features that bring additional value to the users of the Made platform.
• Contribute to the architecture and implementation decisions for our applications front end and middleware.
• Actively look for solutions to improve the workflow, technology, and products within the Made team.
• Continually expand and improve the knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies and software development best practices.
• Implement and maintain responsive UI / UX elements, ensuring consistent design and functionality across mobile devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, back-end, product management) to deliver new features and improve app functionality.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Perform thorough testing of mobile features to ensure optimal performance, usability, and bug-free operation.
• Stay updated with web and mobile development trends, tools, and frameworks to continuously enhance the app’s performance and features.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Contribute to code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate in an agile environment to meet deadlines and release schedules.

Key Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in front-end web development.
• Strong experience with React.
• Experience with Next.js and Node.js.
• Solid understanding of web design patterns, UI / UX principles, and responsive web design.
• Experience with REST APIs and integrating back-end services into web applications.
• Experience with BFF (Back-end for Front-end) is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of web application testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Selenium).
• Ability to write performant, efficient, and bug-free code with a focus on clean design and maintainability.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
