Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Site Engineer on a freelance basis to join their team. You will supervise junior engineers and assist with construction operations while liaising with senior team members to ensure all activities meet required standards. Ideal candidates will have a relevant engineering qualification and essential experience in utilities and heavy structures. A full driving license and the ability to travel to remote sites are required.

Qualifications

• HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent and working towards institute membership (ICE).
• Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
• Experience in utilities, earthworks, heavy structures or drainage is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supervising junior engineers and construction operations.
• Liaise with Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate resources.
• Monitor and coordinate subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
